Hi Girlie! I'm Ilona.

Only a few people can say they truly love what they do,

and I’m lucky to be one of them. My passion for hairstyling started back in high school when I caught the “hair bug.” Since becoming licensed in 2004,

I’ve spent the last 20+ years growing, learning, and perfecting my craft.

After building a strong foundation in Orange County, NY, I moved to Manhattan

in 2013 and spent six years on the Upper East Side

specializing in color with one of NYC’s most talented teams.

That experience took my artistry to the next level and shaped me

into the luxury colorist I am today.

In August 2019, I took a leap of faith and opened Suite Beauty By Ilona. 

There is no better feeling than welcoming my amazing clients in my own space. 

I finally found a place where I can be creative and develop my client relationships without the hustle and bustle of a crowded salon.  

I love my job because of the incredible women I get to meet and our time together becomes more than just a hair appointment.

Its their moment of self-care. Through personalized color and styling,

I help them feel cared for, confident, and in love with their hair all over again.

My specialties include dimensional blondes, balayage, rich brunettes, radiant redheads, gray coverage, keratin smoothing, and one-on-one blow-dry and styling lessons.

I believe your hair should not only look gorgeous in the chair but also feel

manageable in your everyday life.

When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me cooking

(and sharing favorite Trader Joe’s finds or my favorite recipes),

binging tons of shows ( Bravo is my top favorite), enjoying NYC weekends with friends,

or at a country concert—cowboy boots on and singing my heart out.
